Jobs Plus also offers rent incentive for residents who obtain employment, or receive a raise that would cause a rental increase. ‘’The incentive is only applicable on earned income and resident must be enrolled in the Job Plus Rent Incentive Program before income is earned’’.

Objectives of the Jobs Plus Program

Selma Housing Authority received a $2.3 million Jobs Plus grant from Housing and Urban Development to increase employment efforts for residents at George Washington Carver Homes and Felix Heights developments.
